EDGE Corps staff's mission is to help fulfill the world-wide calling of the Navigators: “To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.”



  • Minister to students involved in The Navigators ministry on campus through outreach, one-to-one mentoring and small group Bible studies.
  • Reach out to and engage unbelievers who show spiritual interest by discussing Biblical topics, sharing life experiences, studying the Bible, praying together and interacting over life issues.
  • Be actively involved in events, retreats, seminars, and/or workshops in order to build relationships and help students grow in Christ.


  • Equip student leaders through teaching, training, mentoring, coaching and counseling.
  • Serve on the campus staff team in planning, organizing, and leading events and activities.
  • Involve new students in the ministry by building relationships, inviting them to outreach events, and following up with them.
  • Participate in and help lead summer training programs and/or summer overseas missions programs.


  • Join your EDGE Corps peers for comprehensive ministry equipping at EDGE Corps semi-annual training summits located at the beautiful Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado.
  • Experience ongoing equipping and training for ministry on campus through your local staff.
  • Be spurred on in your walk with the Lord through personal spiritual growth, study of God’s Word and intimacy with Christ.
  • Gain the skills and foundations for raising your full budget through the engaging summer ministry partnership development (MPD) program. This includes training in practical ways to raise funds and dedicated instruction from a funding coach through the process.

Administration and Funding

  • Communicate with your prayer and financial support team through regular updates to share what God is doing through your ministry
  • Continue to invite more people and churches to join your team.
  • Diligently attend to your administrative tasks (e.g. responding faithfully to ministry emails and submitting expense reports).
  • Understand and comply with Navigator policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor. The Navigators reserves the right to modify duties and responsibilities as appropriate.



  • Profess salvation in Christ and have assurance of salvation.
  • Maintain a vital, personal relationship with God.
  • Embrace and live out The Navigators Calling, Core Values, Vision and Statement of Faith.
  • Model personal ministry and exercise of gifts.
  • Demonstrate Biblical principles and values in your family, with students and with staff.
  • Act in the best interests of The Navigators in public and private life.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be led by, and sensitive to, the Holy Spirit.
  • Have a heart for ministry, spiritual development, and knowledge sufficient to lead college-age groups.
  • Demonstrate ability to raise his/her approved budget.
